muhahahahaha! Actually I got back about a month ago, but trying to catchup on bills, taxes, housing, etc has kept me so busy I haven't even had a chance to log on... I appreciate all your wishes/prayers for my safety...and you need not be a 'ghost whisperer' to read this...I am in fact, still alive! Don't know how much new stuff I'll have to post in the immediate future, but I'll start trying to put some stuff together...hopefully...mainly trying to replace stock that I've sold... and I'm going to spend the next several days reading/responding to the comments/fav's/new friends that I've missed out on!

You may not know, but I am in the Air Force.  It is very possible that they may sending me to an undisclosed location (I could tell you...but then I'd have to kill you kinda thing) in the very near future (process could begin as early as tomorrow) and lasting up to several months 'as AF needs dictate.'  So, if I don't post or reply after today...that's why.  Pray I don't get killed, and I hope to see you soon!!

So, I've been thinking about the theory of maille...and this is my all powerful analogy, lol... I think the way that we maille, the tutorials we follow, or the patterns that we weave are like tying an intricate knot... ...but that doesn't mean that we 'know' the knot...we just know how to tie it... To know the knot would be like someone removing a section of the knot (remember this is an intricate knot) and then us rethreading the ends to meet up and again complete the knot. ...it's this 'knowing' the weave that makes a good mailler, I think... When I began to maille I'd often practice faster than my meager ability could follow...hoping
