I understand that this title is involved with Levis or something like that...but beyond that, I'm lost...lol

So, the small one is your standard spiral done in 20g1/8
To the right of the small one is simply as doubled spiral done in 18g1/4...I'm not as fond of that as I thought I'd be
And on the bottom...stolen straight from [link] ...props to gnomeofmaille but done in 18g3/16. I think it's a really cool weave and is basically two strands of spiral weave, interposed on top of each other, then tightened...that last step about drove me crazy!!!

PS...I know what DNA is...I've seen Gattaca!

Cool!!! Does the doubled and interwoven spiral unwind like the basic spiral does? That always bothers me about the spiral weave.

the doubled one does...horribly
the interwoven one DOESNT!! It's soo cool...all you gotta do is attach the two strands to each other at the ends (if you know what I mean) and they lock each other in place...that's why I showed it in a straight line...it'll hold!

That's so cool!!!! I have to try that then, its always pissed me off that it unwinds.. i mean really what's the point if it isn't going to stay like that, maybe i'm just to picky :)

lol...no it's not...they only used DNA letters GATC...

I think I understand what you're asking...tell me if the answer sounds right--they're not 'woven' together, I just linked them with a ring going through both strands...sound right?

ha ha yey! recognition as well as blatant theft! Looks good, and I ought to figure out a way to show you my end connections, perhaps I'm just more nimble with my fingers than you are, but I didn't find it quite so hard to finish, it's just annoying if you don't keep the spirals taut or they slip out of your fingers while working it.

it wuddunt the end connections that were difficult...it was spiraling them around each other tightly that frustrated me to no end!!
